Home Page The Steaming Cup first opened in June of 2004, The Steaming Cup is proud to be able to brag about turning three years old. If you visit the shop, you will have to take the time to meet the owners, Terry, Kerry and Shawn Mackay. We studied coffee shops for 20 years before opening the shop. Our original plan was to open a small 'mom and pop' establishment. So much for the small aspect. But in those formative years, we studied and practiced light entertaining and desserts, both design and production. We took cooking/baking classes andd experimented with high school students, parents and teachers at Pius XI high school art studio nights.
